i blew my axles a couple of weeks ago and had them replaced .. they still shake for some odd reason . people told me aftermarket axles have a good chance of still being bad in the long run and that the rebuilt axles are even better than the new ones?what would you guys recommend i do?
People commonly are under the assumption that an alignment will cause a shake. Unless it is extremely bad, generally an alignment will not cause a shake.Tire balance will cause a shake before a bad alignment. OP, you are probably right in assuming that it is your axles, even though you replaced them. I have had several bad axles over the years, but most of them tended to be the remanufactured and not the new axles. I don't know where the whole reman. is better than the new argument came about, but I have seen it the other way plenty of times. Maybe I can help out a little in this case. Reman. axles are a combination of your old parts, and the replaceable new parts. Therefore, if the axles were extremely worn, your reman. axle, even with new parts will be worse in most cases than a new one. Good luck!
