Yes, I want a manual. That's kind of the whole point in my search for a DC2.

Just wondering. How does the automatic Integra feel? Anything special? Worth considering if there is a nice, clean, low miles example in front of me? AND keeping it as an automatic, no manual swaps.

Auto vs. Manual - ALL PERSONAL PREFERENCE...

Buy what you would like to drive; or convert it if you find the right one that happens to be an auto ;-)

I have both and switch off between the two. Though my auto has 100k more miles, I just dont like the way it drives, but in general it is how I feel about most automatics. As a daily driver, beater style car, it does a good job though, fuel economy isnt as good

My automatic was nowhere near as fun as the manual one I had. If I were to buy another one, there is no reason I would buy an automatic Integra. The slushbox really saps away all the fun of driving, as it is not a terribly good example of an auto trans. The car really feels held back by the transmission, whereas the 5 speed lets you really wring the engine out. Not possible with the auto.

the automatic trans in a 90+ integra is just no fun and its shift points are complete ***...my personal opinion.

and also wanna say the auto trans' honda put in these and 99% of other hondas do not hold up well with people who have heavy foot.

^^you CAN wind them out wit an automatic.. Just slap shift it.. It's not the best on your tranny, but u can read line it, it'll hit the rev limiter.. My advice, if is an auto teg that u find, just drive the **** outta it until u tear the tranny up. Plus it'll give u time to find a nice tranny.. I swapped my ls 5spd out for a JDM LSD gsr tanny. It's got a lil shorter gears, but not super short like the type r trannys, that way u still get a good top speed.. And type r trannys are hard to find and when u do they're very pricey. I found one when I was looking, carbon sync rows, fresh rebuilt.. But he wanted like 1500 or something crazy like that.
