okay. i'm trying to settle this arguement with a little stupid neighbor down the street. apparently he does not believe me when i told him that gsr's came only in stick. since he found that edmunds link. he's trying to say they do make one cuz it shows the mpg and that's it. i know i'm right, right?

Can't depend on these sites to have all their info correct...Carpoint is even worse in this regard.

And no, there were never any auto GSR's.

 

in japan there sort of were but they were not called gsr. they did have auto dohc 1.8 though.

in the later 94 4dr's there was an automatic GSR...My friends Family had one...
