Default Attention nitrous users...

I need educated opinions. This is what I am attemping to do. I just want something that I can have for the occasional race here and there. I want to push the 50-70 range. I'm not trying to go all out. This system will be sold after saving up enough $$ for forced induction. What setup are you guys using and what would you recommend for me? Dry or wet? Your advise and comments are greatly appreciated.

Running 80 shot Direct Port... just get the car tuned on the dyno, and I would recommend nothing but a wet setup for more then a 50 shot.

N.O.S. Wet kit

I have a 75shot wet kit and for the year i used it, the kit worked great!!! Came with everything you need. At the time i had it professionally installed at a shop since I didnt want to mess anything up....

NOS 2040W wet kit for the GSR, i think it will work for type R too.. call them and ask.

i don't want to upgrade any internals and from what it is sounding like you guys are recommending a wet setup with 80+ shot. all i have is i/h/e wires and plugs. i've been told that shouldn't go over 55 dry or wet. btw i have a GS-R

no you can go any shot you want up to id say 80 max on the wet kit to be safe and on the dry kit 60 shot to be safe, but not as fast obvious

Zex is definitly one of the more user friendly kits to operate and install. I reccomend this over any other brand. With the amount that you are talking about, you would be alright with wet or dry. Go here to learn more

Zex is like any other dry kit.. but is more user friendly to install... not much more.. but a little easier.

All work well though, once installed i hear.

nitrous aint hard to instal.

Ignore this.. there is no reason not to go with wet system......

As a matter of fact, i recommend you ignore everything online. Too many opinions. IMO, diff. systems are good for different power output.

Like i said B4...
50 shot.. go dry
more... go wet..

putting the power down ,im going to try to help the stoopid ones who keep blabing w. no pertinent info.

dude, u have a gsr, get the nos plate kit. u wont have to do **** to get it to run fine on 75 shot. i suggest a fuel pressure regulator for kicks. ngk bkr73 plugs.
if ur one of those kids that says he'll only spray a 50 shot i suggest u go nos dry or zex. i used to think wet kits were good...single fogger...but after seeing plenty of manifolds all f*ked up from n20 backfires , i do not suggest them. go direct port if ya want some style . one more thing, i suggest the NOS PLATE KIT for ur GSR.

only want 50 shot? get the dry setup. zex kits are under $500 complete these days. a nos wet kit costs more i'm sure. after i've done everything but supercharge. and i can tell you, nos is the most pleasing. instant torque is a rush.

since everyones opinion counts, listen to mine. build up the motor to handle a large nitrous shot (200?)

thanks for all the advise...when all of you speak of the NOS plate kit are you talking about:

http://nosnitrous.com/HiOctn/ProdLin...NOSNS/SC3.html

right? i thought that you shouldn't spray more than 65-75 on stock internals and fuel.

Damn, that direct port is the "stunna" of the nos kits, huh? How do you even get that thing smogged? My brother is running a single fogger kit, and most places wouldn't smog it because they saw the fuel line running into the solenoid. As for the plate kit, anyone have pics after the install? I figured that since all the lines run into the plate, there wouldn't be so many lines, etc. showing.
