Anyone ever do the jdm itr coversion using the tbar instead of using the full radiator conversion. I'm kind of skeptical to try it.

Nothing to be skeptical about.
The only difference between the US and JDM radiator support is the upper portion that hold the hood latch and headlights.
If you have the option of doing this and dont mind welding two halves together, then save yourself the headache and do it.
