Air modification valve?
First off, sorry for the double post, mods-delete it if you want, but I really need help.
I just got my JRSC back from Moss Motors. The guys at my shop installed it but said I needed an Air Modification Valve. I called JR and they said they had no idea what that was. Either way the car is idling erraticaly, like bouncing from 1000 to 1500, and sometimes bouncing very quickly from like 1500 to 1600. I took it to a small mechanic, and showed him the wierd idle, and told him I needed an AMV, he said, yes, thats whats causing the idle. So, what are the guys at my shop reffering to?

Ok, my friend now remembers that it was $69.99, and the shop had one in stock. Which leads me to believe its the IAC, so is the IAC 69.99?

Just a stupid guess...
Does the JRSC take some different valve to do the job of the IACV? Might explain the price difference.
On GSR, there's both IACV (electrically controlled) & thermo-control valve (heated by coolant). Right? Does JRSC use something special to do the combined job of both these OEM valves?
