my driver seat belt wont work it doesnt go up.... i have a 91 integra..... do i have to reset the ecu or something.... cuz i took out the seats and put new carpet but after it didnt work.... HELP!!! ASAP!!!

 

did you remember to re-plug the connector under the seat? I think thats what its for... if not the seat belt motor might be shot. Happened to my DA. Acura will fix it for free.

 

yea because i plugged it in and nothing happend .... tried opening and closing door.... nothing happend... i tried everything even i reset'ed my ecu nothing happend.... so imma take it to acura.... are u shure its freee?

 

Well the motor for the seatbelt quit working all of the sudden in my 92 gsr and i found out that since its a safety feature in the car, Acura warranties it for life. So if its not something you did, then it should be covered. But it does seem strange that you pulled the interior and now its not working.

Got a manual? Try to find a diagram for the seat belt system and see if you may have unplugged something...

Also make sure you didnt blow a fuse. <------ I would actually try that first.

 

Whatever you do dont mess with the actuall belts, check the plugs, check the fuse, but dont mess with anything else. If you have messed with the belts then acura will not warrenty anything.

 

i just took out my seat and put it back in cuz my carpet... and the thing was working fine for awhile then it just stopped working when i drove to a mexican shop
