Does the V2 come with a bypass valve? I helped install one in my friends car and it didnt come with one. Unless its optional.

From the way it sits, it doesnt seem too low to where it would hydrolock unless your car is slammed.

If there are any big puddles itd be wise...

I hear technically its not a CAI because it sits a bit differently than most others.

Basically if the filter comes anywhere near water or rain and stuff will be hitting the filter a lot then you'd probably want to get one. It really depends where you live and what the weather is like there.

1. a bypass valve defeats the purpose of a cai
2. unless you're submerging the filter, water splashing on it isnt much of a problem
3. keep your inner fender lining in place
4. as stated, a bypass valve wont fit anyway
