aem CAI question???

Are aem CAI supposed to come with K&N filters? just wonderin cause i bought it from somebody and they sent me a K&N filter with it

Yes, K&N filters are part of the AEM CAI system.

Only just recently did AEM start using their own AEM filters (probably still made by K&N 'cause they look damn similar, but with a nice AEM logo on it). So if it's slightly used, then it's a K&N.
