advance timing????
i read a guy that advanced it 18 degrees then 22 and he loss power at 22 so i think 18 is good. but i want to know the difference i will get and how to do it
Search please.
Oh yea, and the guy that advanced to 22 is ******* stupid -- i hope to god he was running racing fuel so he wasnt detonating, but at 22, im sure he was.
one typically advances two degrees, 18.
study up.

when u advance the timing does the car idle higher or what. when i advance mine to 18 degrees the car is now idling at about 850 rpm. even if i adjust the idle it still idles at 850.
