i just bought a ACT 6 puck clutch disc. i noticed that the metarial dosent have far to go down before it gets to the rivets. has anyone tried this disc or had any problems with it. its the copper pad disc.

yeh I had mine for about 5 months and it took a ****. Somehow see if you can trade it for a ACT full face, im much happier with that one

 

i have one also...haven't run it yet...came with the tranny i bought off some dood...wondering how it is too

 

i haven't heard the greatest things about ACT 6-pucks....but the full faced disc is a real good one

 

i got one with a extreme pressure plate its rough the first time you drive on it and frist gear is the hardest to engage but the rest of the gears engages smoothly. you just got to get use to it. it holds like a **** thou i rip tires in every gear thats incudeing 5th gear!

 

heres a really dumb Q...does it matter when the disk has the springs in the middle? mine doesn't have it

gotta forgive me...i used to have an auto..just barely swapped it to an manual

 

the thing without the springs in the disc just make it alil more on the harsher side when it grabs. less chace of any clutch chatter too though.
