Ya know....I have the same issue. I'm thinking of going to acura one of these days when I'm not so lazy and buy those grommets that I seem to missing....

Its the ones that go on the back panel of the trunk when bolting the bumper in....

they don't make replica's simply because our bumpers have "Integra" stamped on it. Wow I hope I don't have this same problem when I install mine. Let us know what you use/did to fix this. Thanks

Couldnt you just loosen up the bolts that connect the bumper reinforcement bar and lift that up then have another person tighten it while your holding it up as high as you can?

thats ur best bet....if it doesnt go up any higher, take a dremmel and make the holes go up more so the bumper can be pushed up higher.

OEM? It should fit perfectly... do you have all the nessacary hardware? I had a similar issue with my fender, but found out that my front bumper was off... =S

This is a common problem puttin 98 spec on pre 98's....mine was the same. I closed the gap a bit by using washers between the bumper mounting bracket and the bumper itself. worked pretty good.
