i recently tried to fix the wiring on my parking lights(front) and i touch the ground and one of the hot wires and blew the fuse and now i replaced the fuse and when i check if the is power on the wire it says it has power but dosent work when i wire the it to the light.

 

Bad ground maybe.

 

What was wrong that you were trying to fix?

 

i wanted to make the large bulb to light up for the parking as the parking light and flash for the turn signal, like i said i checked the ground and everything is fine and the fuses are not blown or anything. when i check it with the light tester it says there's current but i plug the conector there is no power and i tried a different light connector.

same thing with my car, dash fuse blew up and then i switch it and never worked after then i notice my tail lights were also not working now if i hotwire the parking light to the battery they work but then if i actually use the test light to the fuse panel i have no power

need to know if anyone knows where the white wire from the outer fuse panel goes to when i switched to the red/green wire and after that split to red/black wire (inner fuse panel i think ) going to the parking / dash

does this require getting the whole dash out ?

 

found out that my flasher lever is not sending power from the white wire to the red/green wire
