today i was at the store and i saw a faded black teggy RS i looked inside of it while walking by, ( i have a tendency to look at honda odometers) and it said 408,XXX and i was walking outside after getting stuff and this 30 year old or so manstarts it up to leave and sounded soo clean for being a beater... damn i am proud of driving a honda...(eventhough mine is still down)

 

LOL My first import was a 90 RS...I loved that car. I sold it at 130,000 about 5 years ago and I saw it last year still chugging along. I wish I had gotten close enough to read the odometer.


Kinda off topic, but my aunt is still driving a 90 civic hatch that has over 250,000 miles on it. These cars are awesome.

 

i work @ a honda dealership and i see 91 accords all day w.280+

 

one of my friends have a g1teg with 267k mi on it, and it is still going strong too. My teg only has 217k mi, but I have no problems and I know she will last quite a while. Hondas in general really will live a long time; they are well made cars.

 

it just puts a tear in my eye to see such a car runnig so decently
