im runnin a charger with 11 psi. soon i will go to about 14 psi. i want to run 50-70 shot of nos. but i want to run all that safe. i know that im goin to need stronger pistons and rods. want else do i need so i dont have to worry about blowing it to ****? and if you can give me prices to. thanx

 

I'm assuming that this is on a B18C1. If I were you, I'd go ahead and have the block sleeved and fully built. Contact earl on this board and he can help you select the necessary components and get you a good deal as well.

What kind of charger? intercooled? Asking because 14 psi is going to create alot of heat, so it has to be done right. As far as the Nos I hate nitrous, and in this situation it only complicates things and would make tuning more difficult.

is this a jackson racing blower? because i have heard they lose all thermal efficiency past 11 psi.

 

yes it is a jackson. and on the intercooler i was told that it was not to worth it. i only really run it at night. plus not to much during summer.

running an intercooler with any type of FI is worth every single penny spent on it! it doesn't matter if you run it at night or during the day.

 

the only one i have ever seen or herd of was the one on lht.com. now theres is on sell for like 1g. do you know where i could get one for better price?
