Red Wire = 10A Fuse = Instrument Lights/Taillights/Parking Lights
Blk Wire = 20A Fuse = Wiper/Washer System, Moonroof Relays

The Buzzer isnt annoying at all. Thought it would be worse. If you leave your lights on you sure will know tho.

Remove the fuse
get the end of the wire, stick it in the slot
put the fuse back on and make sure the wire is tight.

great idea, ive been wanting to do this for years.I too couldnt get that skinny flimsy
gauge wire in the fuse slot.So what i did was strip a little more insuation from each
wire and wrapped it around the fuse end and stuck it in.Works like a charm!

When i saw my fuse box i noticed a wire already on the 10A fuse. (Red Wire = Instrument Lights/Taillights/Parking Lights) its for the alarm. Perhaps you didnt reattach it???

that means u had the shittiest alarm install eVAr. u didnt even kno what ur were doing, and u were able to deactivate your own alarm. just take ur car back to the place where u got ur alarm and have them look at it

btw, instead of sticking the wires into the fuse slots, u could use those male spades just above the fuses i suppose... attacht the read wire to the one thats hot when the parking lights are on, and the black one to the spade thats hot then the ignition is on

Oh yeah... forgot about when this will NOT work.....

When you have a turbo timer on the car, and you leave with the car still running (and lights on), you obviously don't hear the buzzing until it's too late.... and by then you're already walking away from your car. Most people say they always look back at their car for whatever reason and that's a good way to see if you're lights are still on. But if you have a turbo timer, I couldn't find any fuses to tap into while the car was still on so I hooked up a relay that saw the ignition signal and was able to decipher when to buzz and when not to with the car still running.

Has anyone done the "clean" install by splicing into the wires in the back of the fuse box?

The instructions he posted and the exact indications that i posted on page one is self explanatory for install.

The buzzer sounds when the car is off and the headlights or even the parking lights are on.

Whats cool about it, is that is sounds when my alarm activates and disactivates. Ppl gonna think i got a pager alarm n ****
