Thank you!!! The past 4 days have been ruff crawling under the car, holding crap at weird angles. Broke my back 3 places in motorcycle wreck. I have 4 disc fused together in my neck so it makes working on cars hard. Wish I could be that guy to pay someone to do everything ATM but I have a thing about letting other people touch my cars. I have to give a buddy of mine, Minh major credit for all his help and knowledge.
Everything is all hooked up and managed to fire it back up. Ran into a kink. No boost!!! Lol The turbo originally had a internal wastegate and the downpipe flange used accommodates the flapper for the wastegate. It wasn't welded in the right spot to close. Phone died before I could get any pics. Tomorrow we will grind that weld and close the flapper. Fix any other issues that may arise and off to tuner next Saturday.

Flapper was slighly cracked when welded it so ground the weld down and redid it. Surprisingly the turbo doesn't start building boost till almost 4k. I was expecting much sooner with being so small. Trimmed bumper more to fit and went on maiden voyage. I'm having issues staying cool. Today around 5, it started getting hot 220ish. IAT's got to 152. Tonight I went on a 45 min drive. Temp stayed at 199 with IAT's at 118 in 79° weather. Can't wait to get a tune. Driving a turbo car out of boost= tease!!

Here is my 300 hp all motor GSR.. or at least it looks like it on paper. Equivalent of a "super 60"compressor w/ a P-trim t3 .63 turbine housing. Its a small turbo with a larger turbos characteristics???

Man this is a blast to drive. Got most of the bugs taken care of so I was able to romp on it a little. I had a smile ear to ear.

Nice to hear a fellow survivor still making it happen on their own vehicle like myself. I shattered T12 and L1 going 100+ into the back of a Mazda Millenia when a lil ol lady turned out in front of me @ 4:30AM. Did a sweet roof plant and have fused T10-L3 wasn't supposed to ever walk again let alone ride or drive a stick ever again.

Got this app for s300 called sdash so I can monitor sensors with out all the gauges. Curious to see it in action tomorrow. Spal fan will be here tomorrow as well so hopefully I can run with a bumper. Fingers crossed

Went to the local 8th mile last Sunday for test and tune. First time since boosting so I was setting up my two step the whole time. I got about 9 runs in before the lsd let go. I kept bogging off the line but was consistently running a 8.5.
It was amusing when I got there how a couple boosted mustangs and chevy guys walked over talking smack giving my 300 hp crap. It was funny after I ran them...

Old lady pulled right out in front of you, eh? Maybe she didn't see you because you were.....you know.....going over 100 miles an hour.
Forget your back, how's the innocent woman?

Not much lately. Had the rack and pinion replaced and boy the difference it made. Feels much more safer at higher speeds. Prob have 6k miles since boosting with zero issues other than snapping the axles at the track. Got some things in the works for. More power and better piping lay out under the hood. This cold weather has been nice!!! Less the breaking loose in the top of 4th gear!!! Nail biter.
Hey those bumper fasteners you have, are they holding the bumper on or do you have bolts on there also? I have some of those fasteners too from pwjdm, but the gap on one side is not being pulled tight like on yours. I used a bolt on one side but the other side it wont pull the gap tight.

I need to get your 5454 to make some real pow-wa!

haha
