SHARE YOUR STANCE - The guide to achieving that ideal setup...
As for my Type 1's, they have about another 1.25" in the Front and 1.5" in the back, before having to mess with preload or adding extended top hats. They wont be maxed out as long as I own them, my car functions very well as it sits, and as soon as I move away from my nasty dirt road I will go about another .5" - 1"(almost maxed out) lower.
I will be adding some 5mm spacers all around to get the wheels closer to the fender at -3deg camber. So I will be more flush soon.

Just as a forewarning... if I ever see your hatchback in public, EKtypeRhaTcH, I may lick it. Because, man is that a good looking hatch.
Best tire size fitment on a dc2 with 16x8 +20 offset?? Currently have 204/45's and that's too meaty. Helpppp! Lol looking for mind stretch yet safe from potholes with a 2 inch drop
195/45/16 on an 8" wide wheel:

This user was running a 16x8 +20 with 205/40 Neogen's.
That white hatch is sick.
I bet it drives quite comfortable to with those meaty tires.
Anyone knows if 215/45 tires on a 16x7 +42 wheel fits an EK hatch without adjusted fenders? Don't have a camber kit either, it's just lowered.

Tire specs: 205/45/16 Bridgestone Potenza RE760
Suspension setup: TMI
Camber specs: front (-1.5 after alignment, but then I lowered it further), rear(factory)
Jack Point Measurement (from ground): 4 and 5/8"
Additional modifications: The rear fenders are rolled, no pull. The front fenders are slightly rolled with crude tools and some angst. The coils have an inch or more left in the rear and the front needs to be lowered about another 1/4" for my tastes. No rubbing anywhere thus far, but I had to remove small pieces of the rear bumper where it mounts to the rear quarter panel and bend the tabs in the same location.

Just kidding, but I do like it.

My car is actually under the knife right now and it has been for about 3 months now, just changed a few things here and there.
heres the hella sunk steelies lol

and heres a sneak peak of my new wheel setup same thing 16x9.5 all around, this is actually the first set in the world. I should be putting them on sometime this week. btw wheels are made by Avant Garde

thanks!
^ Dang! Kinda sad to see you beat me to the Avant Garde wheels. I spotted them a couple months back and am just blown away by that design and the specs offered.
Wheels: Jline sdmsl2 18x8 +30 // 18x9.5 +28
Tire specs: 205/40 // 245/35
Suspension setup: Tein Flex
Camber specs: spc ball joints -2.8/-4.5
Additional comments about your setup: nothing too crazy/aggressive, would like to go down to 235/35 or diff brand for the rear tires. The s-drives ran a lil wider than expected.

Wheels: Enkei RPF1s
Specs (i.e. size, width, offsets): 16x7 +35
Tire specs: Falken 912s 205/40/16
Suspension setup: FF Type 1s-only lowered about 30% of the sleeve(approximately 2" from the top)

Jack Point Measurement (from ground): unknown
Additional comments about your setup: ride isn't bad at all, I normally run 45 series tires which feel a little softer/smoother but the 40s aren't bad at all....Both plastic fender liners were removed due to rubbing when running 45s...now that I'm on the 40s, I can go down another 2" or so...Im not a "HELLAFLUSH" guy so the 35 offset is perfect for me...

^car looks nice. But just an fyi, with the plastic fender liners removed, you run the risk that your tires can grab small rocks and throw them up into the fender. Which can dent the fender out and give it a bunch of little dimples. I've seen it on quite a few cars before that thought they didn't need them.
Wheels: 949racing 6UL
Specs (i.e. size, width, offsets): 15x7 et36
Tire specs: Dunlop Direzza ZII 205/50 R15
Suspension setup: FF Type 1s Set as they cam from the factory
Camber specs: Stock front; hardrace rear camber kit Brought in just enough to clear rear fender without rolling. Will be taking it in and aligning it in the spring and I'll know exact values for all four corners.
Jack Point Measurement (from ground): unknown
Additional comments about your setup: These pics were taken just after the first initial setdown with brand new wheels, tires, coilovers, and rear camber kit. Rolled the car back and forth a little bit in the garage to help it settle a little. But we've got a couple feet of snow on the ground here, so it's garage bound until late March/early April. Rear fenders aren't rolled and can't be due to previous body work (rust was cut out and patches welded in place, minimal bondo was used to smooth the transition, but I don't want to risk cracking it. Front is just slightly rolled at the top of the arch to give more clearance for the clips that hold the fender liner in.
Overall rating of your setup (1-10): Can't really rate it until I drive it. But I like everything about it so far. Might go a little lower still. We'll see.

I just got a set of XXR 531s in a trade that are 15x8 +0. I looked through every page of this thread on only saw maybe 3 people running this setup. I was wondering if anyone could comment on a good tire size? I plan on trying out a 175/50 or a 185/45 if I can find them.
