I hope my car passes inspection
Thanks, hopefully I'll see you there. Gotta make sure my schedule works but I'll probably sign up this week sometime.

Good news, brake expert is off on Sunday so we'll be doing the front s2k setup, Stainless lines, dot4 fluid flush, and rear Integra discs!!!!
All in one day!!!
Car is going to be a stopping animal. Just in time for that autocross event. Will probably sign up here in the next day or two.
Any idea on the rules for the Fiance getting in? Will she need to bring lunch? Or can she buy good there? We'll bring water/chairs and maybe a pop up of course.
Just ordered a Function7 rear brace. I can't afford to risk subframe tearout. I love my progress suspension and my swaybar and they've guaranteed me I don't need it but I'm skeptical that I might get subframe tearout anyway. I hope it's here before the event. That's the last thing I need is my subframe to explode on my daily driver.

So many updates lately!!
Check out what I got for $80:
My old bumper was cracked and I finally found one that was already taffeta. Much to my surprise, the guy I bought it from didn't know that was a CTR rear lip attached to it.
It was a little scuffed on some areas so I had my body shop guy paint it. $120. Total: $200 for:

Edit: The fiance took the nice camera with her to Los Angeles

Nice, I need a new rear bumper as well. <jealous>
If you need any help on Sunday, LMK, I'm bored and like to work. Is Mike helping you? Is he doing it for free? Doesn't seem like he would help for free. lol
Normally you can have people race with you during auto-x, not sure about the novice school since you will have an instructor with you. Food is on site for purchase too. Priced just right.

Mike says he would help me do it for free. Idk.
I'm going to his house on Sunday. He says the Master cylinder and the front s2k setup should only take an hour or so. Bleeding and installing the rear disc setup will take 2-4 hours depending.
hard to imagine how much better it's going to brake.

Upgraded to s2000 calipers. Also switched to rear integra brakes. Here's a few shots, last pic is the "after."
The infamous BrakeExperts Garage. This guy is nuts. He must have 60 sets of rotors from various cars. Dozens of pads. Probably 100 Calipers. Machining tools, a drill press. Good lord. Mike is ultra professional, always made sure to clean brake fluid off of his hands before doing anything else to ensure he never got any on the paint of the car. A little strange sometimes but he's a funny dude and seriously knows brakes like no other. Listening to this guy talk about brake theory and brake setups is mind boggling.

Here's the old DX brakes

Here's the new s2000 calipers. With re-drilled Mercury Cougar rotors. With EX knuckles I can upgrade to the 11.8" s2000 rotors as a direct bolt on.

So along with the front brakes and rear discs I obviously had to upgrade my MC to something bigger, 1" integra MC
