Heated Seats

Some 92-95 EDM Civics were wired stock with heated seats.

Status: I've installed aftermarket heated seat units, wired using the stock OEM wiring diagrams. I didn't use the OEM switches because they would occupy both slots in the armrest for both the driver and passenger switches, and that seemed lame. Instead, I used a 2-in-1 switch from another Honda vehicle.

Do you mean that you want to install a rear foglight into your EG6 bumper? The stock OEM location for a foglight on an EG Hatchback is integrated into the driver's side inner tail lamp. There is no separate lamp in the bumper.

You can follow my guide to install one on your USDM Hatchback for next to nothing: Honda Civic 92-95 EG/EH Poor Man's "OEM" Rear Fog Lamp DIY Installation Guide

Stalx: Can you get a part number for the Black EDM Audio Console? (for Left Hand Drive cars). Thanks!

those aren't pieces that were available for 92-95 civics.

I know... but our point is that that kind of style of light - a separate lamp whether from an EF or DC2 or wherever - was NOT how Rear Foglights were mounted in an EG. Rear Foglights in an EG were integrated into the inner tail lamps. You should feel free to do what you like to your vehicle, but if you plan to cut holes in the bumper, just remember that it will not look OEM. Just warning ya'. Follow my DIY that I linked to above to make one that looks more OEM (though technically not 100%).

Anyway, back to the original topic.

How about just an all-round really rare car?
Enter the JDM Honda Civic Si 20th Anniversary Edition. Chassis code EG5.
This car is currently For Sale in Montreal. $5500CAD.

Note some of the JDM goodies here?
  • Bumper guards, front and back
  • Is that centre speedometer white? (Mighta been swapped.)
  • Long LED body-coloured spoiler.
  • Special rear emblem (Says something underneath "Civic", and red "Si"
  • Rear 2x Gathers speakers.
  • Rear HEADRESTS! Whoa.

The heated seats super cool!! Any more information on that??

Man, I love heated seats. I take my Mom's 740iL out and just use the heated seats. Don't even turn on the heat, haha.
