a buddy of mine had one on his hatch for a long time. sounded OK. not wonderful. i'd only recomend one if you have no fabrication-time/skills, or if you can pick one up used.

Ah, I was just wondering because I wanted to know if the exhaust came out the left or right side, since in all the pictures they always look like a can muffler coming out the right side.

i knew a kid that had one also, it was on a n/a d16a6 i dont know what size it was but i was not pleased for the price. on a boosted car it would probably sound ok. and it came out the driverside.

Sounds like it could've been the 2.25" exhaust then, I know those will come out the Driver side, it's the 3" that I'm suspicious about, since those are the ones that always look like they'd come out the passenger side in pictures, which is something I dont want.

Do they sell just the muffler and tip?

most of ones i have seen are custom. especially in the EF chassis, the EG you can get away with using ones "commercially" available, but generally not in our cases.

im able to get a way with an ebay cast manifold, holset h1c w. 18.5cm2 housing, running an innovative front cross member with a half radiator, i had to add brackets to the xmember to push the radiator more forward. the dp has a sharp pie cut bend right off the turbo and is still 1/2" from the radiator. oh forgot to mention b series motor, exhaust facing the passenger side.

i have pics on my cam but i cant find it right now hah.

How thick is your intercooler? Was it pretty easy to keep the webbing/grill on your front bumper with the intercooler in there?

We're almost there!!
My brother and I got all of the charge piping finished up on Saturday. REALLY tight fit on the turbo side but it worked out. The turbo has a 2.5" cast elbow welded on it, and yes that piping is welded to the intercooler, and there is only one straight coupler to the cast 90.
