**Official Boosted EF Thread**
Have you guys found a real need to run a vacuum block on your setups, or has splicing in lines been sufficient? The blocks seem relatively affordable, but just wondering if it's simply a matter of aesthetic appeal and reducing splices in existing lines or if it is actually of a benefit to reliability, performance and safety?
my edelbrock mani had a bunch of ports for vacuum, so i didnt use a block. i do know that some bov's such as the tial will not function correctly if they do not have a big enough line and/or a dedicated vacuum source. its really just a good way to make sure that you are giving each thing a quality vacuum source.
well Ii got tired of waiting to finish my 2L na build. So I picked up my freinds mini-me out of his wagovan.

Yes it was, thanks for remembering. Just got a full body repaint, new side skirts and door caps, hood shocks, getting the new Skunk2 pro c's for EF's along with lca's along with a lot of other little stuff.
sweet, i thought i recognized it. looks nice and fresh... i need new paint lol.
So my goal on the car is to reach about 600 HP on it, maybe 550's but I was wondering what clutch kits are you guys using on your cars that are producing around that much power? Clutches are getting confusing to me, any suggestions you guys are happy with? I'd still drive it on the street, if I reached 550-600 it would be on race gas, and I'd like to see 380 on pump gas maybe?
I'd like to avoid ones that will have harsh engagement or alot of chatter, since it would still be driven on the streets during the week and tracked on the weekends. If the description is vague then let me know and I'll go into more details

At those power levels you would want to consider some twin-disk clutches. Tilton makes a great twin-disk, as does Comp. I don't know much about the exedy but it seems that people have had luck with those too. You could probably get away with a strong single disc, but why bother?
Hmm, do you have any references as to what kits would work? Right now I'm on the comp clutch site looking at their products. Will puck clutches always have chatter? I'm looking through their products to see about finding the twin discs.
Since this would be for an S1 cable transmission with the B16A I would wanna purchase one for a 90-91 integra, right? I figure so but I think I'll double check just to be safe
