They can post in this thread, but they cannot post in the Sponsor Forum vendor's thread over there.

ive dynoed it several times on an ITR. most people see a 15whp gain from just bolting it on.

few years back i did a test of this header versus every other header on the market, and it won and it was tested on an ITR engine.

not much else i can say, ive never seen this style header lose on a 1.8l engine.

If you are in the market for a budget header that makes good power this is it.

i used to have this RMF header on my 2.0L. even with some pretty agressive cams and tuning, it gave great mid range and top end, but if you have some fairly large cams( i was running blox HSL's) the bends in the header kinda hurt top end a bit, just around 8k rpm... not to mention shaving the ish outta the fan shroud. ahahaha. they still did well in top end, but a more gradual bend would have helped for the top end. but i loved them. no complaints at all. i had the RMF narrow just like the one pictured, but with the 3" collector.... as far as the header turning purple... i have no clue.. mine was ceramic coated.

i installed mine on a 2000 gsr. is the stock cat a 2.25 inch collector? cause the gasket that comes with the header is massive. lol. so i just bolted it up without the gasket between the header and the cat. loud exhaust leak but it's my daily d. i'm just going to order a high flow cat i guess. as far as install...it was a bitch. haha. very very tight fit. a lot of prying on stuff.

I had this header, well the real one.
It tucked up nicely and had great clearance but I made a **** ton more mid range and a couple more peak when I switched to the RMF long tube version(non ac compat)

I had this header on a jdm itr motor and a na 82x89 motor.

once it's in there and ya drive it for an hour or two it turns from the silver to the dark bronze then gets the purple spots in it. it's deff one of the sexiest headers out there. haha. all my friends get like a huge grin and laugh and roll their eyes when they see it. i'm just going to make a cat-delete pipe in school and hope it's not too raspy. if it is then i'm just gettin a high flow cat...WARNING to all you gsr guys. the stock cat won't fit up to the 2.5 inch collecter. haha.

yeah i notched my xmember and even with a omni test pipe its not long enough so i have to extend it i also had to move my fan to push air instead of pull air

i can fit about 5-6 playing cards between my xmember and the header

Is the other version of this header that you are talking about mainly for drag, or could it be used for road racing/autocross??

Im looking into these headers also for my B20vtec 85mm build im doing for my daily driven ek hatch. im debating between the hytech tri-y replica headers or these the rmf narrow style replica. has anyone see or heard of these header being used on a b20vtec and what kind of gains were seen?

15whp bolt on seems a bit high. A very reputable tuner said I should expect around 10whp with a good header, intake, and full exhaust. I am using the JDM ITR 4-1 right now. I'm going to get a baseline after I get my exhaust completely welded up since I put a huge resonator for a test pipe. 2.5" header collector to exhaust tip.

That is the only mod I had to make to get this header in. Had to go with a slim fan. I had really hacked up my stock fan, and it was not enough to fit it in. Said *** it and got a slim fan. Get a slim fan if you want this header. It makes life easier if you do. Kills me to see what I did to the stock fan.
