Joone's Street Power A/M Candy H2B EG Build
Wow, how long was the paint on the car? Just curious how long it took to fade.
I wish assembling the car was as much fun as it is to strip it, haha.

The car has been painted for at least 3-4 years and the fading all happened within the first year. This was my daily driver so the sun beat the crap out of it. The paint had a defect which made it fade also. Kinda sux.
. People still trip me out though because they think the car looks like it just came out of the body shop. The car is still super glossy and shiny but I know its not the original color so that's what makes me want to spray it again.
Honestly, I wasn't looking forward to tearing it down to get a respray but all the hammering and welding being done to the car makes the decision a lot easier. Oh yea, btw the paint is gonna be free because the body shop is warrantying the paint.
Taking it apart is cool and fast, but putting it back together is gonna be the "fun" part. I am anxious to get it done cause race season is just around the corner but its gonna be worth the time... So much new stuff going into the car this year.

^^ Long time no see. Still got the teg? btw, thanks for the comment on the build. Hopefully I'm done with it soon. I just talked to Danny at SSR and he said he has space for the car. I'll be bringing the car in next week sometime, if everything goes well...
Oh yeah still got it

Danny does nice work, I'm sure you'll like the finished product. Your doing the 5 point right?

Nothing Super Gangster but I just wanted to add my latest upgrades to the thread.
Brand New OEM Front EG bumper and a set of 24x3.6x15 M&H Skinnies. The list is huge but I'm working as hard as I can...

Haha, I'm scared of all the prelude peeps hatin on me.
Yea Like Pete said, Me and a buddy of mine made it specific to my battery and welded it in place. It's easy, Just purchase a L bracket from home depot and cut it, weld it together so that it is in the shape of a box. Good to go. Hope that helps...
btw I got the OEM bumper for little less than $150 including tax. I used to work in the Parts dept at a Honda dealership and I'm still good friends with everyone. OEM parts are a grip without a hook.

I think I heard Josh saying something about that at CMI. he was also saying that he needs to put his current motor out of its misery. haha. Its been on the dyno more than the track. Sounds like my car. haha
I have to see if I can buy a couple bumpers at the dealer. I normally just buy engine stuff because they have it in stock but body parts need to be ordered, especially for EG's and EK's... I dunno if its cool with the parts manager if I order hella stuff at employee price... Thats why I'm ordering bits n pieces...
