I am also going to be getting taller skinnies, mine look kinda funny with the car beings so high and all...

Paint and some minor new body parts, like bumper n mirrors. I am also getting my SSR roll cage put in and putting in some work on the trans.
Theblock ran stong this year but I'm looking for more power and faster times so Redoing some of the motor is on the to do list also... $$ is the limiting factor. We will see what happens....
Its not ALL about the stiffness in the springs, you need a suspension with dampening ability. Then you have to preload the suspension. However this may not work out so well for you if you street drive the car.
Still cant go wrong with d2, omni or Skunk2.
Use the smaller skinnes, less rolling resistance. Who cares if it looks funny. Are looking to win a car show? haha

haha, don't care about car shows much. I was told a taller skinny might be a better idea though. I was going to stay the same width but just taller...
The car doesn't see the street unless it is to take some pics,
, so street driving isn't really a concern either. something super stiff shouldn't be a problem.... Skunk, Blox, Omni are all on my comparison list right now... I am still trying to get the cash to take the car over to Danny's at SSR to get the cage done. Should be cool by the end of next week...

I finally had a chance to put in some more work on the hatch. Its not much but its pretty much fully stripped as I can get it for the moment. I am going to get the cage done before the car goes in for paint so I can't remove the suspension stuff yet... Anyway, here are a crap load more pics....
I started in the engine bay and wanted to get rid of all the hard lines so:

I also bashed in the frame rail a lil bit more on the driver side, Getting the crank pulley off and putting the alternator belt on was a bi*ch b4 so this should make it a bit easier.

This is all the misc stuff I had to get out of the car today.

A shot of the car kinda in the garage. haha

and he daily driver in the background.

Just thought I would throw in the Banner for kicks. Love reppin the Team.

Got some more stuff out of the car, still working though.

The "clean" welds my buddy did on the shifter tunnel. I regret cutting out the old original tunnel now but I did what I had to back in the days...

And this is the inside of the whip all cleaned out.

This is all the wiring and misc stuff that came out of the car today.

These are just a couple pics showing the main reason why i'm getting the car resprayed. The candy coat faded

Still got a lot of work cut out for me but I should be having pics of the car with a cage soon...
