Default homelink

does anyone know if you can buy the overhead lighting console from honda with the integrated homelink buttons to replace the existing overhead lighting console. This is something you could do with toyota 4runners for about $75. I am thinking it should work for an accord assuming the consoles are the same size for both flavors. thanx

Yes you can, but it might be a little pricey to replace the whole console. I was at the junk yard and found an Accord with homelink. I just took the center part that had the homelink and switch it with the one in my gf car. Plugs right in with no extra wiring. My only problem is it is tan and the console in her car is gray so now I have to find some paint to try and match it. Check ebay and you'll probably find some for a decent price.
