will these rims fit??? 15x8 4x100
So I guess going over bumps is out of the question with that setup.
If you don't need a large contact patch then you don't need a large rim.
Nice looking rim though. What other sizes does it come in?

I'm pretty sure when I say that most of us are not only turned off by the look, but the lack of function. It looks dangerous with the tire stretched like that. Not to mention kills your contact patch, running such a narrow tire.

to an extent i think some look good, as for style its only a matter of one's own opinion and likes/dislikes. i run ol school hayashi racing mesh +38 on an 195/50/15 in front and 205/50/15 in rear and they sit more than flush. To each his/her own
Dont hate participate, and having a wider wheel with say a 205 is good because you get more of a contact patch. The tire is stretched flat using more of the tire. Its a much better option then running 225 on a 6.5 width rim. On the race track a flat tire provides better turn in. Anyway... Im not gonna argue with the seasoned HT "crabbies". Ill finish by saying who cares, to each his own, its looks awesome and its got a stock d15 in it.

EWWWW
thats gotta be fake
the tire is resting on the fender
that looks great in a PIC but i would never abuse my car like that...
pluss the camber is way off... tires every month

you guys are funny, i'm pretty sure the fenders are rolled so they are not resting on the tire, that combined with a bit of stretch would give you the clearance you need. i say to each his own, from a looks stand point its growing on me, from a function standpoint it doesnt make a lot of sense. i think the guy in the pic is too low, not much suspension function going on. i agree with the other guys in this thread... do what you like to your car, its your car and in the end your the guy who has to live with it

In order to have the same backspacing as stock, ideally you want about a +24 offset in a 15x8. I'm doing this test fitting to see how big of overfenders I'll need..... The new hoosier a6/r6 just came out in 275/35/15 and will fit a 9" to 11" wide wheel...
I have an ef hatch that I'm doing this on:
Here's set #1 (Jeep Ravine wheels):

15x8 +25 offset, 5x114.3 bolt pattern.....
Set #2 (TE37's):

comparison photos show 15x7's on left vs 15x8's (+45 offset) on right:

I did some quick mounting to see what I'll need to do to the fenders.
15x8 jeep ravine wheels weighing in at ~17lbs (15x8, +25 offset) vs volk racing te37's at 15lbs (15x8, +45 offset).
Here's the pics:

Lol Jeep wheels on a honda!!! I have a Cherokee sport, and was actually looking for those wheels to put on it. Can't say that I'd ever want them on my CRX though.
But when it comes to wheels on my hondas, I like an offset and tire combo that gets the TIRE to be flush with the fender...not the wheel. Thats why i think a 40 offset and 205 tire is just about perfect combo. It looks more race than rice to me.
Tire stretch just kills the sidewall, and the chances of blowing out the bead become huge. and IMO it just looks retarded.

i would have to say that not every1 needs RACE function on there cars... some people just like to cruise and thats where the strecth becomes more style than function. and to say its dangerous, how dangerous can it be if ur not racing around town but just cruising? racing around town is more rice than race!!

Just wondering because when my brother put Hx's on his EK the best thing to do was shave the caliper, or so i was told.

To each their own...
...But, that doesn't mean that the fact that stretching the tires sidewall (the most important and structural part of the tire) to fit a wheel beyond what it was designed for...simply goes away because they want to "cruise."
I'd never stretch a tire beyond what the MFG reccomends.
and...just because i like the "race look" doesn't mean I like to race around town either moron.
Jesus christ.

i never directed that comment toward u... i was just saying that not every1 is into the race look. and simply stating the fact that when people think they have a race car and do ricer flyby's on every1... then there ricey. sorry u got ur panties in a twist. my comment wasnt means to do that

My appologies. It's just when you reply to someone on a forum (IE...it says "RE:boostwerks.com") that typically means you are directing your conversation towards that person.

i just hit reply on the last post... its much easier
by the way: i like both looks... i have a set of 205's on a 7" rim, and i wanna get another set of 8" rims and strech some tires THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS
