Default Using factory 6-disc

The integra I bought came with an Alpine 6-disc changer and a factory tape deck/headunit. If I buy a an Alpine headunit (i.e. Alpine cda 7894), would it be straight plug and play?

yes and no.. depends on the what model cd changer you have installed.. is the cd changer an rf or direct control? meaning do you have to tune to a radio station for it to work or does the factory headunit control it?? you will have to check w/ alpine to see what models it will work with.. the 7894 is ainet controlled so its designed for higher end units
