Best CRX Catback Exhaust...Vote Now!!!
This thread seems kinda dead and off point... I say that a new thread is started and stickyed with pics, video/audio of the different exhaust offer along with a vote...
Hopefully if I'm not too lazy I will upload my video with sound of The Mugen EF Teardrop, my RS*R and maybe an HKS that I have on my camera. That way we can keep track of what's what and compare.

i just custom fit my 89 crx-si with a 5zigen fireball exiting on the driver side because originally it was an axle back. but i ****in hate it! im on a budget but i dont want to do straight pipe. im in between either HKS sport, Greddy sp2, or apexi world sport II. again i will be custome fitting it, so if anyone things one of the 3 would clear the bumper the best please let me kno. thanks guys!
HKS with the "off road" option.......The look and the sound of that exhaust makes is soo desirable.
The absolultly the best one....Mugen....hands down.

LOL, it's the best eh? what makes it the best?
There are many good brands out there! I am lucky to have an original old school DC Sports system for my crx. High quality stainless steel, nice fit, and reserved sound
It is one of many good brands out there

Almost anyone can make a good exhaust system now-a-days, no doubt. But when it comes to it, if money was no option, I'd rather buy the Bang & Olufsen speaker instead of that Dynaudio. Eventhou the sould quality is the same, the over all design takes the cake.

Crap, total crap.
I have one and the pipes are not 2.5" as they claim, they are 2.2"
The welds on the hangers are way bad. I had two hangers come off the pipes and they took chunks of pipe along with them. They have the wrong set up at the rear flange where the axle back connects to the mid pipe. That joint should be a flex joint, and the rear section is set up for that, but the mid pipe is not set up for a flex joint so you end up with a weird joint that does not flex as it should.
Also that joint comes down to 1.7" diameter so what ever you gain wiht the 2.2" pipes gets thrown away at the 1.7" bottle neck at the rear joint.
Another thing, the muffler is way too big. If your car is lowered you are going to hit just about everything that sticks up from the road. I got sick and tired of that and replaced the muffler with another one. BTW, my car is only 1" lower than stock.
Buy it if you get it dirt cheap, otherwise save your money for something better.
You will end up wasting your money on a poorly designed and built exhaust that will have to be replaced in a short time.

what ever you do don't get a spoon muffler with spoon header and cat delete. Mine sounds horrible and its loud even with 3 resonators. Came with the car and will go with the car.
