Re: (SleepyCx)
try what sleepycx said, hammer on a socket that is a little bigger than the lugnut, and try to take it off slowly. if not, take it to your local shop and they might be able to get it off for you. if its a good shop, they might have the special kit made just for breaking off the locks.

you can try improvising, i had that happened to a friend before and what we did was take a grinder to the lug nut and grinded a slit into it (where you are facing the lug nut) then we took a pipe and smashed the end of the pipe so it got pretty flat like a flathead screwdriver. then we used the pipe like a flat head to remove the lugnut. hope this helps

Re: (12 oz.)
so how much do u guyss think the shop would charge too take them off... because i was thinking of doing the whole lugnut thing and hammering it in but then that means i would have to get the same lug nut 12 times cause dosent that lugnut broke after you hammer it in the lock if noit let me know thanks

depends what type of lock you have. there is one where u can use the end of a ratchet without the socket attached. there are some where u might be able to use a vise grip. or you can just buy a new key from where ever you got the locks at.

Re: (RedHackBatch)
I had a similar problem (but it was the key that was fuct), most tyre shops will be able to take them off for you using a threaded socket kinda thing and the gun.

Craftsmen Bolt Remover... impact gun set... works like a charm. had the same prob happen to me before. just hammer the remover on, insert socket or impact gun, and off it comes. plus its a handy kit to have around for other situations.

NONONO. Use a Snap-On turbo socket. It will get off the lug nuts in 2 seconds flat, I use mine on stripped nuts all the time. I could even send you one. I have a couple. PM me.

It worked for me so what if it ain't Snap-On. It's $15 and it gets it done.

I don't see how this Gator thing will work. Tha eom wheels locks are perfectly round. Nothing to grab onto. If you don't want to spend any cash best thing is a 12 point socket just smaller than the lock and a hammer just as most ppl have been saying.

I tryed one of those when my keyogen whatever lugs got stuck. It wouldent really work for mine, but we had to hammer on smaller ones. Kinda messed up the part around the lug nut. Sux ***, 1st thing is get rid of those lugs when u get them off. Goodluck with it, most frustrating thing ive ever had go wrong on my car.

I bought the set....and your right it is hady to have around....
for those type of situations.....but it aint cheap....i think it was like 20 bucks a set.... and u need both sets because they put like the most popular sockets that u need in both sets.
but the stuff works perfect......cuts right in the nut...forcing it off.... and saving time and money....SEARS baby!

That thing works wonders.....20 bucks a set, aint cheap though and they put the most popular sockets in either set forcing you to get both...
but it works nice.... cuts right into whatever bolt forcing it off.....SEARS baby!
