For those who think the 205/50/15 Azenis is too narrow for a 8" rim, lookie here.
The fit is perfect and almost as if the tire was made for a 8" rim. Will see if turn-in has improved any this weekend.

The rear wheel barely hits the upper control arm. A 5mm spacer fixed that. As for driving the car with them on, my springrates are high enough so the suspension doesn't move that much anyways.

Are you running extended wheel studs in the rear?
I thought the general concensus on using 5mm spacers in the rear of the car, was that it is a bad idea with stock wheel studs.

5mm isn't too bad. Once you get up to 10mm that you would need some extended studs so that the lug nuts would have enough turns. (I think 4 turns in the minimum??)

How would spacer snap lug nuts or wheel studs (extended or not)?? Please clarify.....

So with the +27 offset TE, there shouldn't be any rubbing issues right? (well in theory)

I am curious to see how it fits in the fenders of a lowered Integra.
If you have adequate fender clearance, it should fit fine.

yeah but you may have to do some rolling of the fenders possibly right??
My question is how badly do you thnk that setup would rub with a 225 tire, both front and rear? Would more than a 10mm spacer be needed in that instance??

It would depend on ride height. It may need more clearance than simply rolling the fenders gives. Flares may be needed.

I would stick with a 5mm spacer all around and deal with any rubbing on the rear control arm that you may encounter.

Reid always coming up with the valuable info
I was planning on going to a 15x7, or even 7.5 with an SSR comp, but I was always curious about this 15x8 after I heard some people were going to try it. I tried to order some 15x7 Volks back in the day, but decided to wait and see the outcome of this. If too much modification is needed to run these, I'll probably stick with my idea of running a 15x7

After some tweaking, my test fit showed that a spacer was not needed on the front or the rear. However, you'll need a different upper control arm on the rear (like a camber kit control arm) to get this to work. The oem control arm has that lip on it that makes things want to rub.
The front wheel even clears Spoon calipers--barely!
However, some 3mm spacers all around would be about perfect. If this wheel would have been offered in a +42 offset, it would be perfect. the +45 will tuck in the fenders though.
I doubt you'd be able to get the +27 to tuck into the fender. You'd need to raise the car because you'd be rubbing on the fender lip both front and back. I thought about this, but I'd rather have the car lower for my needs, plus I do not want to go cutting fenders. +27 offset with modded fenders and 225/45/15 Hoosiers would rock!

Re: 205 Azenis on 15x8" rim. Yes, it can be done! (Ausmith)
Looks pretty good, but I would say 8" is a hair too wide. On a 7.5, the sidewall of the tire is nearly flat, and perpendicular to the road. In your pic it looks like the sidewall flares out a slight bit to seat the bead on the rim. Also, the 7.5 SSRs have no rubbing issues with stock setup.
(BTW, this is not an attempt to ***** another post to advertise my SSRs for sale. Really. )
