I am painting my car this week and want to know if you guys know of any nice looking black colors black with/matalic stuff like that.

My car is curently black but it is fadded everywhere, has lots of little dents and rust on the quarters and there are scratches everywheree.. I am staying black becuase it will be cheaper but can change it as far as like adding a color with it.

I was told the RSX black looks pretty good, black with blue speckle. What do you guys think!? im trying to get some other opitions on paint.. Thanks guys!

Here are two pics of my integra curently, you cant tell how bad the paint/dents/scratches/rust is from the pic but they are there..little spots all around the car. VVV Any help desiding on a cool color scheme would be greatly appericiated!!

the options are endless. if you want a solid black, there's no better black than Hyundai's black, code 'EB'. it's nearly straight high solids black right off the mixing machine. in the sunlight it looks like a black hole. berlina black from the S2000 on the other hand is very milky. for pearl blacks, honda's blacks are pretty good, but i tend to go for single color pearls in black, not mixes like Granada black which has gold, copper, and red. KIA has a color called 'Black Cherry Metallic' which is straight black with red pearl. it would be perfect as an accent to red stitching inside the car and other accessories on your car. nighthawk black pearl is honda's black with blue pearl color.

basically, just choose whichever color pearl you want and there's a paint code for it.

i always like when i see Honda/ Acura colors on Honda/ Acura cars. i never understood why people want to paint their Integra World Rally Blue from an STI or something like that? Keep it OEM

'keeping it in the family' is nice in theory, but when you have the ability to look at and mix literally any color that has ever been put on a vehicle, you begin to realize that honda doesn't really have the best color choices. it's all about personal preference and personally, i like the idea of looking at every possible option and choosing exactly what i want. that's how most other people feel as well. there's no sense in limiting yourself to what was offered at the factory.

so many colors are almost perfect for certain vehicles, but just a little off. when you pick up the chip deck and start thumbing through the hundreds of options within a particular color family, your eyes can latch onto the perfect color for your particular vehicle or project. there are no biases or preconceived notions about what a certain color is going to look like just because it's on one vehicle or another. you don't even have to look at the manufacturer until you decide to mix it up. you just pick the best based on nothing but your tastes and go from there.

i hate when people want a color just because it's on a certain car, i.e. "type r white" or "si blue". that's incredibly lame. champ white and electron blue are ugly anyway compared to the other options out there. (<-- opinion, lol). just pick a color that you like and go with it. what's it matter if it's on a subaru or lamborghini or daewoo?

my car is champ white and i picked it because i think its a white color that doesn't look "pasty". besides i think a white car looks super fresh. as for keeping it a Honda color; i like to look at a Honda car and pick out the particular color based on my knowledge of Honda colors. It almost seems wrong to me to paint my Honda Chevy Hugger Orange or something like that. But this is not my car, i can not choose the paint and i am not painting it so why should my opinion matter? I am throwing out ideas considering i know the OP

Check out Chrysler color Brilliant crytal black pearl. Its pretty nice I painted my buddies hatch that color.

Thanks for all your inputs. I stopped down at the guys paint booth yesterday and saw the RSX black that he had, he laid it out on a slick for me and we walked in the sunlight. It looks reall good. Its a real dark black with blue flake in it. Looks really nice. I think im just going to stick with that color.

Another reason i really like that color too is because like what was mentioned above i do like to keep it in the family. Although like DC2.2 GSR said there are a TONN of better colors out there that are not made by honda/acura if you really look and search around.

I appreciate all your inputs and you will be the 1st to know if i decide to change my mind on the color, Also i will post up pics when its all done. Should be a bout 2.5 weeks from today.
