Default 97 delsol front/rear sway bar on ek hatch

I have a 98 cx Hatch and came across a del Sol si front and rear sway bar . I went to install the rear today and it seems like it was a little short and one of the sub frame bolts wouldn't line up with the D bracket. I've read about budget sway bar installs but wasn't able to find anyone who used a del Sol sway on a EK , does anyone have this setup or know anymore about what it takes to get the OEM bars on my car?

I am aware I need the LCA for the front sway, but haven't worked on that yet, just the rear. Thanks

I believe you'll need the 99-00 Si brackets and end links.

there's a bracket that the D bracket bolts to. Sounds like your missing that.

12/13 on this diagram.

I thought from my research the Integra bars are the ones that need the end links and brackets...

Not sure where you saw that, but it's 100% incorrect.

I have that bracket 12 13 and that side bolts up, the other side does not have that bracket . and that's the side that doesn't bolt up. But it is not meant to be on the other one just the smaller D bracket..

10-4, do you have the del Sol say bars or familiar with them on an EK, I just want to know if the front will bolt up and what I need for the rear if the bar and brackets work or need fabing .thanks

Other than diameter, what's the difference between a 92-95 Civic, 94-01 Integra or 94-97 Del Sol anti-sway bar?

The only difference in the sway bars besides the diameter is the EG/DC used a completely different endlink. In that case you'd need a bushing to go inside the hole for the end link to be able to use a 99-00 endlink, or aftermarket.

Can you post pictures? This should be a complete bolt on process.

I currently have a bar for a DC on my civic. (Eibach, but that doesn't really matter)

So what you're saying is the the DC/EG end links are what's needed on a 96-00 Civic, not the Si? (Real question, not being facetious.)

No, the EG/DC enlinks will NOT work on a 96-00, they are a totally different design. However you need "spacers" that allow you to use the 99-00 OEM SI endlink, or aftermarket if you choose to do so.

These are what's needed to put the EG/DC sway bar in a 96-00 civic.

I really lost on the issue here. Short of something being damaged, there is no reason why this shouldn't work. It's a bolt on process.

Thanks guys, so Just a recap the 99-00 si end links I need or the after market from jhpusa will both work?
Sorry I haven't posted a picture of the d bracket issue I'm having on the right side I haven't had a chance to get back under the car, I will follow up when I get out there. It just seems like the holes don't line up with the bracket one does but the bottom is to close .

This is a picture of the brackets not fitting the bottom hole on the subframe. The driver side fits (the bigger bracket ) and also the stock end links. That I'm not sure will work or not .

You need the em1 D brackets, bushings and endlinks in order to fit that onto a 96-00 civic.

Do I need these spacers from jhpusa.com In addition to the d bracket and end links from 99-00 si ??

Ahh. I see now.

ok, so the D bracket doesn't bolt onto the subframe. it bolts onto the bracket that is on the sway bar now. (left side)

Next, those endlinks will not work. You need 99-00 SI "style" endlinks. OEM or aftermarket, doesn't matter.

You WILL need the sway bar spacers also.

Awesome thanks man , I think with all these additional pieces I may just buy an aftermarket sway bar and call it a day, lots of money for only a 13mm rear sway.

I bought everything for an EM1, thats all I'm going to say.

used an integra LS rear sway bar, em1 brackets and endlinks. no spacers.

as mentioned in our message, it's still going to require all the same things to use a sway bar on this car. aside from the ~$30-40 the spacers.

also, you will to get some different bolts to actually secure the brackets to the subframe. Factory 99-00 si bolts will not work.
