This is my first time buying slicks and I don't know what size to get? Ive heared if I get 15 inch slicks I have to mess with the gearing in the trans, is that true?

What size are your tires now? What is the largest size you can fit? Do you want to change the gearing through tire diameter? If so, how much?

If you can't answer these, then you shouldn't be buying slicks.

I can't imagine how you "heared" anything, but wtf is even being asked? 15" diameter slicks? 15" wide slicks? Slicks for 15" diameter wheels?

And no, you would never have to mess with the gearing in the transmission, but it can always be a consideration as you dial in a car. Why would anyone have to mess with gearing due to a tire change?

Even thinking that, means you should not be buying drag slicks.
