What are the power & torque limitations of a MT Drag Radials for a Street turbo car?
Hi, I'm in the process of planning my build and I was curious, how much power is too much power for drag radials on the street? I'm not into big dyno numbers or low ET's, I don't care for maxing out sleeves or turbos or anything. I just want usable power. I am planning to run Mickey Thompson drag radials 24/7. How much power will make them useless on the street? I am looking to get traction at 25mph and over. I've never built a fwd car before and I'm curious how bad the traction gets.

That's going to be entirely dependent on the car. Overall weight, weight distribution, gearing, suspension stiffness, the powerband, and hundreds of other small details will determine whether or not you're going to run higher hp figures or smaller. So, in short, there is no quick answer.

Another big factor is your Tire size, transmission gearing , diff. and final drive
What kinda car you gonna get?
