Rays valve stem install

I just picked up a set of rays valve stems for my Volvo aluminum wheels and wanted to know the correct way to install them.

Is this the correct way to install them?

Stem - rubber seal - wheel - flat washer - thick nut (nut side up) - lock nut - valve cap.

What torque spec should I use?
Lock the two nuts together?

Thanks https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

Mine have a rubber seal on both sides of the stem.

Be careful not to over tighten or marr the finish.

I would not worry about using a torque wrench.

Just tighten the first nut until you can see the rubber washers start to crush.

Put a dot of lock tight on the threads where the lock nut will rest.

With a wrench on both nuts tighten the lock nut until you have reached the same amount of torque required for the first nut. Maybe a smudge more.

You should be good to go. It's not rocket science. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

Also pay attentin to what you are doing. What may feel like the nut tighting up could be the wrench digging into your rim. If you don't know what I am talking about you will when it happens.

i think this is the order. this is not a rays valve stem but the principle is similar.
