Offset question

I need to know what offset is safe to run on my 00 Si. I have it dropped 1.75ish on Tein Ra's and I am not 100% sure the best offset to run. I plan on only running 15's or 16's but not 100% if 40 offset, 42 offset or 45 offset is the best choice. Also, running 5x114.3 but not sure if that makes any difference. Thanks in advance for any help guys.

Re: Offset question

Without knowing the width of the wheel, its really not possible to give you an accurate answer. Offset is a measurement from the center of the wheel, so therefore its width matters most.

Re: Offset question

My fault, looking at 7in.

Re: Offset question

With a somewhat mild drop i think any of those offsets will be fine with a 7" wide rim. None of those are far off from each other and far from low offset.

Re: Offset question

I would prefer the 40 offset with a 7" wide wheel. That way, it'll allow you enough clearance at full lock to the inner fenderwell, to allow for larger tires. +35 offset is about as low as you can get before outer fender/quarter panel clearance is an issue.

Re: Offset question

We'll be between 38 and 40mm ET for a 15x7 at stock ride height. For your application Matt is correct that 40+ would be better.
