96-97 spec ITR wheels on civics
I just got a really good deal on some 4 lug ITR wheels with tires and I'm currently trying to figure out what would be the best option for mounting them. I have a '92 Civic DX hatchback and obviously the issue is the bolt patterns and center bore are not the same. ITR center bore is 64.1 civic is 56.1. So initially my idea was to get some 25mm (1") 4x100 to 4x114.3 PCD adapters, but finding 4 hubcentric PCD adapters is impossible. I found one set of hubcentric adapters, however they're only 15mm (0.59").
So my first option is this: get the 15mm adapters, run a 10mm hubcentric spacer BEHIND the adapter, and then run 56.1 to 64.1 hubcentric rings on the adapters so they fit the wheels. Technically since all the spacers are hubcentric, this shouldn't put as much stress on the bearings and lug nuts, right?
2nd option: just run the 15mm adapters and hubcentric rings and deal with the sunk fitment.
3rd option: Redrill the wheels. I figure this wouldn't be crazy considering a lot of 4 lug aftermarket wheels can accommodate 4x100 cars as well as 4x114.3. My only gripe is that i'll be ruining the OEM look of the wheels.
4th option: swap the knuckles or hubs. honestly I'm not sure if I would just need 4x114.3 hubs or if I would need to swap the entire knuckles. And honestly? the cost would be more than what I paid for the wheels.
So what should I go with? Should I keep the wheels and do one of these? Or should I sell them and save up a little more for something else, like Kosei K1's or used Mugen MR5's?

The only 25mm adapters I could find are not hubcentric. I know there are companies that make custom adapters, but they all cost more than I paid for the wheels, so I'm debating if it's worth it.

This would probably be a good time for a brake upgrade and hub/bearing replacement, but that might get pretty involved since you have a dx and not si....

I did want to do a front brake upgrade eventually, but I'm not sure if I wanted to swap the hubs. Either way, I'm not sure what hubs would work on my car. Guess I'll have to do some more research on that.

Re: 96-97 spec ITR wheels on civics
Selling them is what I'm leaning towards. There's a company I found that will make custom machined hubcentric PCD adapters, so I figured this would be my best bet. But honestly, I don't feel like spending near the same amount I paid for the wheels just to be able to mount them. So I'm thinking of selling them and getting a set of 6UL's or Kosei K1's. Or maybe I'll try searching for a set of secondhand TC-05's, haha.
