15x8 205 clearance on a stock 94 EG Civic VX on stock alignment
I have a 100% stock 1994 Civic VX hatchback. It has bilsteins and coilover sleeves to help with the handling, but it's a 100% street only, daily driver, economy car on a near factory alignment(little to no camber). I was recently in a car accident, which I am repairing, but it's not the 1st close call I have had on the original 13x5 VX wheels on 175/70/13 tires. While easier to steer it lacks grip in every way, especially wet braking, so I want to size up and get sticky 200-300 treadwear summer tires(I have winter tires for winter).
My plans were to go with 15x8 6UL +36 or 15x7.5 6UL +42 on a 205 tire. I would prefer the 15x8s as I want as much grip as possible to prevent any further accidents. With a near factory alignment, will the 15x8 6UL with a 205 clear the fenders and inside of the wheel well on an EG hatch without rolling them?
