Work I've been up to lately
I was gone for a bit in the Army but back home in Houston doing what I do best.
Working as the fab monkey at my friends shop Inline Racing and developing my own line of new LT1/LT4 goodies (working on a billet intake mani and soon turbo kit for it)
Just a few pics of what I've done lately.

Lt1/lt4 intake manifold?
I should have my first one done and dynoed within the next 2 weeks. After that if all is well and no modifications are needed i will have them at about 2 weeks eta each for the first month then they will be in stock

Sorry forgot to post update pics
So here is where the intake is at
Remember this was a prototype so it was bound to have a couple quirks.
Things to address:
Shift TB up on the flange 1 inch so that the tb motor will clear the port going to fuel system underneath the manifold. For mine we just flipped the tb over and lengthened the wires. This is being addressed for final end product.
The rear of the manifold needs to have a slight angle cut on it so that the rear weld on the plenum cap has more clearance to the firewall underneath the windshield.
Needs some minor corrections to machining errors
As to how it performed.
Well the dyno broke when we were in the middle of tuning it but it is a beast now for sure
We bone stock dynoed this car on a old school dynojet that reads a tad low when I bought the car. The car dynoed 333whp in 4th gear and 366whp in 6th gear (the 1 ratio gear) A8
Before the dyno had putted out on stock timing and the air fuels not having been fully cleaned up yet we were already at 370whp in 4th gear. AFs were 12.8-13 and we were working to lean it out a bit still to near 14 (direct injection likes running a bit lean). Unfortunately as stated the tower that connects the dyno to the computer died though so we had to stop there. My tuner pulled it out for some street tuning and started throwing some more timing at it, it ended up with an extra 7 degrees over stock timing and man it smokes tires down hard.
When the dyno is repaired we will final the tuning and see where we are. We are expecting it to be up around 60-70 whp over stock right now though so we are expecting that 1 ratio gearing (6th) to read 420-430 zone. We will also be doing a e85 tune and seeing if we can get an extra 20hp out of it so....
All this is going to have to happen soon though as next month the car gets ripped apart to start building turbo kit then all hell breaks loose hahah

Re: Work I've been up to lately
Hell yeah man glad to see you're back dude!
I'm still rocking the manifold you built me a couple years ago on my prelude, made 535 on pump gas at only 18lbs. I get compliments on the manifold all the time, mostly because it looks like its the size of the engine haha.
Welcome back dude..... great work as always

Re: Work I've been up to lately
Been busy with my newest endeavour.
Here it is
Full S475 Rear Mount turbo kit for 2016+ SS Camaro. We are getting full boost by 3500rpm. Dynos will come soon and a couple tricks and improvements. We think we can get full boost down another 1000rpm even with this massive 1000hp capable t6 turbo

Re: Work I've been up to lately
Top chart was 100% stock. The blue pull on top was in 5th gear the red on bottom was 6th(1:1 ratio gear)
Bottom chart is with rear mount turbo kit and billet intake manifold maxing out the factory fuel system, a 176whp gain with only 7psi of boost.
Mind you the dyno at Inline Racing always reads a bit (40ish) whp low. A stock a8 2016 ss on other dynos typically gets 390-405 whp from what I understand.
Going to take it to the track this weekend and see what the real numbers that matter says.
Best number I ever ran with the car stock was 12.4 at 114mph. (hot as hell in Houston Tx and I always got crappy 60ft)
The cool thing with this rear mount, all that weight in the back, with traction control turned off in first gear just floor it off of idle, no spinning what-so-ever, just squats the back end and goes hard. I haven't actually tried launching it yet though so when we take it to the track Friday that may change.
Dyno vid to be posted shortly
Going to see about getting it on another dyno tomorrow so I can get a rpm pickup. You can see at 90-95mph a 150whp gain though
Also at the moment power falls off at right after 6k rpm that's why we didn't rev to 140 (rev limit in 5th). There are a couple of little tweaks we are going to make to things to get that to hold all the way though so by the time production part is out that will be long gone. Either way stock fuel system is still maxed out though

Re: Work I've been up to lately
Off topic but I wonder if cali honda theives would try to take that rear mounted turbo if it was sitting on a honda , like unscrew the turbo. Round here one dude took a catalyc converter. Dude posted up with his medium truck and grinding noise was heard not too loud I knew something was up it was late 2am. Dude starts his car in morning u can hear it loud. The theif literally parked right next to it with his lights turned off. If a cop drove by he woulda been busted. In the midwest.
