weirtech's fab thread
well, it seems like the popular thing to do is to start your own fabrication thread, so this is mine. i'll post some older projects in here if people are interested, but otherwise it will just be new work that i've done.
here is a car i just finished: MK3 with a 4.0L V8. work involved: engine mounts, turbo manifolds, up pipes, down pipes, turbo braces, charge piping. the intercooler has yet to be completed but it will be a vertical core with two inlets at the top and a single 3" out the bottom running over to the p/s to meet the upper charge pipe. d/s mani: https://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f...a/DSC00567.jpg https://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f...a/DSC00566.jpg https://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f...a/DSC00568.jpg https://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f...a/DSC00569.jpg top view: https://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f...a/DSC00576.jpg front/under: https://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f...a/DSC00572.jpg downpipes and up pipes: https://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f...a/DSC00573.jpg https://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f...a/DSC00574.jpg 3" dp's into 3.5" single: https://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f...a/DSC00575.jpg d/s charge pipe: https://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f...a/DSC00578.jpg p/s charge pipe and upper charge pipe: https://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f...a/DSC00579.jpg https://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f...a/DSC00580.jpg https://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f...a/DSC00582.jpg ground clearance is pretty tight, but as long as the driver is careful, no issues should arise. |
Re: weirtech's fab thread (weiRtech)
oh my word.
That power plant is so smooth...can't imagine it with twins http://is.rely.net/1-92-30009-l-tEzP...BTGi0jOCgA.gif |
that looks f**king crazy
|
can we see some shots of the entire car, and do you mean MKIII Supra?
that is looking really insane! https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif |
yes it is a supra. sorry no shots of the whole car... exterior is pretty stock looking other than the wheels.

Re: weirtech's fab thread (Evs-One)

Re: weirtech's fab thread (weiRtech)
Looks good.
One ? Why didn't you go with a larger pipe to match the exhaust ports? |
actually, 1.5" schedule 10 pipe is larger than the exhaust port size. i didn't post pics of the p/s header because it was in the car and i didn't feel like fighting it out. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emsmilep.gif

Re: weirtech's fab thread (weiRtech)
Looking good, Billy Ray!
Seriously, looking good weiRtech. Aren't you the guy that had his own logo's on the manifolds? EDIT: yeah you are per your avatar, no logo on these or is that a last step kinda thing? |
Re: weirtech's fab thread (weiRtech)
Hey Weirtech, I see your work in person all the time... I had more than a handful of customers sporting your manifolds/fabwork, and these pictures don't do it justice https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif Keep up the amazing fab work https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/embeer.gif
