Roll Cage Bending Tips
Started building my new roll cage this week from scratch. Bent the main hoop like a boss and its mocked up. Im looking for tips on bending the bar from the main hoop forward and down the A pillar and through the dash. Its most likely a 2 plane bend and finding a way to duplicate it is perplexing me. I don't want to do the halo style which would probably be easier.
Tips?

Re: Roll Cage Bending Tips
We use slip fit jointed tubing and tack it together at the slip joints, then duplicate it with the actually chromoly. Then for the other side, just reverse the angles/bends.
We have did a few full 10pt chromoly cages on 96-00 civics and aim for that small vent in the dash with success. We mostly do full tube chassis builds these days.

Re: Roll Cage Bending Tips
i managed to only screw up one 80" piece to figure out the offset angle. I had to make the first bend and then the second bend was made after tilting the bar 30 degrees in the bender and then bending at the right spot. I can use the messed up piece for smaller pieces i guess.
We almost went and got some cheap conduit to continue.........
