Plasma Cutter that can cut 1/4 steel
Do you guys know of a plasma cutter that can cut at least 1/4 mild steel thats around 500$? or is that just not possible?
how about one for 1000$ if the 500 one isnt possible?
I looked over ebay and harbor freight and their plasma cutters seem to reach there limit right before 1/4 steel..
also my house is equipped with a 220v outlet but if it requires a different outlet that isnt an issue cause we have a family electrician.

Themal Dynamics Cutmaster 38 works great for us (my brother and I)... clean cuts 3/8" and can sever 5/8" thick material. Got ours off Ebay from Indiana Oxygen Co. for under $1100 shipped. There is also the Miller Spectrum 375 Cutmate and Hobart Airforce 400 which will cost $150-$200 more than the Thermal Dynamics Cutmaster 38.
Only way you are going to get a plasma cutter that can clean cut 1/4" or more for $500 is used off of Ebay...

I bought my Miller welder through Indiana Oxygen Co.
I would recommend them again in a heartbeat. The service was awesome. They have their best prices on ebay and free shipping on everything I've seen.
Like Vracer said, Ebay will be the way to go if you're willing to go used.
