Re: Honda K20a2 gearbox flange drawings
Because the car originally mount a 1.6 liter honda small block engine. On sama car we'd like to install a 2.0 liter turbo. Front suspension, wishbones, axels and in general all the drive train is dependent by the gearbox. We don't want to change it otherwise we must rebuild half car..
So gearbox is from small block 1.6 liter (also available in 1.4 liter) and the engine is big 2.0 liter.
I made measurements of engine flange flange but if someone have a drawing from housemother......Will be better!
thx

If someone gives them out freely, hats off to them.
I don't have what you're looking for but the plates I've done that have to be exact (within .0001-.0005" hole locations) are 3d scanned and that usually runs $700-1,000 depending on the part so I'd be surprised if someone just gave them to you.

Pretty much sums it up...I charge 650 for plates like that.

Well guys, I strongly believe in sharing knowledge!
As I told you, I've already made manual measurements and adaptor plate is under design. May be it will require a prototype and a further final version because manual measurements aren't so accurate than laser scanning.
In any case "the job will be done" and later, if someone would need such a drawing, I'll share it freely. World goes in this direction guys....
Kindly regards

Hi Guys,
here first image of adaptor flange prototype made by polypropylene. Next one will be made in EN AW 2017.
Of course there're some displacement to be fixed but, for 30€ of material CNC cutting, is not so bad....
Bye

Prototype has been done. Polypropylene is cheap and strong enough to allow mounting (only).....
Next step are modifies and production in EN AW 2017 or 2024
