Cracked Tranny question
Recently the casing on my tranny cracked...the <U>bottom bolt housing</U> is snapped off and it leaks tranny fluid...I know that the right way to do it is buy a new case or complete tranny BUT right now im broke with college expenses and I really need the car to drive especially for the next week and 1/2 to get back and forth to my new school to setup my class schedule for next year...is there anything that i can TEMP. Patch it up? Like JB weld or gasket sealer? or what about aluminum welding? thanks alot if n e 1 answers positive

POST PICS if possible, honestly I think it could be done for a TEMPORARY FIX, although it may last longer depends on the severity, but the severity of the breaking needs to be asessed, sounds kinda bad if it's leaking fluid maybe the bell housing or somethigns jacked up, but I don't think anyone on here will have a clue until you post images because the description is kind of vague......Good Luck with it though....I've seen it done before, but as said that depends on the severity of the cracking
