Repairing exhaust... without a welder?
Please excuse me if this is the wrong section. I thought the fab section would be as good as any.
Well, my exhaust has a few holes in it, and I do not have a welder nor do I currently have access to one.
Do any of you know any ways to repair the holes without welding them up?
I was thinking of getting a sheet of steel and maybe some high temp silicone and or some hose clamps. Would this be a good idea, for a temporary fix?

You can buy wide style exhaust band clamps at Napa that wrap around the pipe (about 2" wide) and conform well to any variations on the surface. They do a good job of sealing things up.

For a temp repair you can use the aluminized exhaust/muffler tape but your best bet is to use a patch & clamp (sheet metal and u-bolt).
