The Edelbrock turbo kit has been discontinued for a very long time. As has the Greddy kit.

Buy a new street kit from Go-Autoworks. It's by far, easily, the best option you have.

I'm just concerned about getting pulled over and hood popped in CA... Sucks that the actual emissions are no different, it's just a game..

If you're concerned about that then don't turbo your car. There's no way to do it in CA that won't **** you over.

Not trying to be a buzzkill but that's the reality of it. Everything beyond that is a guessing game, there's no "clean" or "honest" way to do this.

Since you're in CA with it's strict modification laws, your best bet is to either go full track or just drive it N/A. From what I know, cops/CHP/sheriff can pull you over a their discretion and ask you to open the hood for inspection. There's no way around that.

I mysefl am running a Go-Autoworks kit and I'm in CA too. I figure I'd just go back to stock when I need to smog (it's a PITA but it's not difficult to go back to stock). I also grabbed myself the Greddy CARB sticker that I can show to a cop just in case (cross my fingers that I don't) get pull-over. Whether they'll buy it or not, I don't know, but it's a little peace of mind. At the end of the day, just be prepared to go back to stock if you have to deal with authorities. Gotta pay to play, as they say.
