have a budget of $3k-$8k depending obviously upon condition and any modifications. I can travel anywhere in CA, and may be open to traveling to nearby states as well depending upon the car.
PREFERENCES
Bottom line, if your car is clean Im open to discussing if it doesnt match up with my above preferences. I'm having a difficult time just finding a clean Si hatch so I figured I'd give this a try. Thank you.
PREFERENCES
- Im in CA, prefer to buy a CA Bar'd car with a B18C1/B18C5 swap (no JDM swaps). I'm open to a B16 swap as well if car is clean.
- Car doesn't have to be Bar'd with B18C1, having engine documentation such as VIN if car the motor came out of would be a nice to have to make my life easier when going to BAR the car.
- Colors- Captiva Blue, Black/Grey, White, in that order.
- Car can be modified or not, Im more interested in a clean body and interior, preferably again with B18C1/B18C5 swap.
Bottom line, if your car is clean Im open to discussing if it doesnt match up with my above preferences. I'm having a difficult time just finding a clean Si hatch so I figured I'd give this a try. Thank you.

^Just wait and save up a bit more, then find an imported JDM SiR.
That's what I wish I had done, rather than jumping the gun before the 25 year rule applied to our 5g's. I bought an Si that was absolutely riddled with electrical problems due to the previous owner hacking everything. I would have saved money in body work/repairs had I just waited and gotten an imported Si/SiR.
Edit: Nevermind, just realized you live in Cali. Better buy a Prius instead
