RARE - 94 Accord Wagon EX Manual - $1700 OBO
OK, dudes. I need to sell this car because I don't have the time or space for it anymore. It's been trouble since I bought it. You can look through my post history. They made very little 94 EX wagons to start with, this one is manual, they only made a couple hundred of these in total. It is a super fun car to drive and I will miss it. I sunk over a grand into this car, and it still needs major work. I replaced the head gasket, and now it burns oil like crazy. I didn't know about the oil burning issue with new head gaskets. I bought a new cylinder head that was refurbished at the time of replacing the head gasket. So it will need new piston rings. I have been using this car to bring stuff down to my office. It runs and drives fine. I just need to put a quart of oil in every 100 miles or so. Sea form in the oil has been helping. engine is a F22b1.
** The Good *** -New cylinder head (still have old head) - new head bolts -only around 110k orignial miles( I put a new odometer in because the original broke, shows 140k) -previous owner changed timing belt- its new -new clutch -New gas tank - new lines near gas tank. - under body is very very solid. hardly any rust. - brand new tires -Rare 94 ex rims - 15'' - has some unique body parts. Two spoilers, and rocker panels. I usually ain't into rice, but they look good IMO - ebay headers (still have original) - New fuel regulator -NEW IACV *** the Bad** -burns oil alot - probably needs new rings (compression is good, tested) - Needs a windshield. - leaking into interior because of no cowl seal - Gas tank smells. think the seal at the top of the tank is not a good fit. I broke one of the bolts - I made an access hole for the gas tank( I know, sorry bros) - probably want to put new gas tank straps on. I had a hell of a time dropping it in the first place. -gas pump was not using all the gas in the tank, i don't know the issue. It may be fixed- the tray the pump was in, may of been clogged. - rear driver caliper is stuck on one side - i have the parts to fix this. - Probably needs a paint job. ***spare parts*** -cylinder head -new engine mounts -original exhaust manifold + down pipe. - rear brake disk and brake to fix issue. - dash cluster with some gauges - fixed temp gauge/fuel gauge/odometer - it has an after market radio. So bros this car will run and drive. I have put on a couple thousand miles in the year or so it's been driving. It took me a while to get the head gasket done, and I just don't have the time or space to keep working on this car. It will probably be somewhat of a rare future classic. I doubt there are even 10 of these on the road. The rims and tires are like $600 alone. The new cylinder head was like $300 gas tank was another $200. If i was keeping it, I would pull the engine, and build the F22b1 into something. The car is fun as hell without a ton of power, but with some new pistons and a worked over head it would be a sweet Little car. Contact me if you want more pictures or info. Car is in central Indiana. https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/honda-t...ebaf104945.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/honda-t...fc2d58204c.jpg https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/honda-t...fab355fc11.jpg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/honda-t...d102f7036c.jpg |
