FS or trade: super rare 2006 red Evo 9 rs
Asking price just lowered to $21,000 on 3-30-15. Not looking for any aftermarket turbo cars. Looking for completely stock or mild bolt on parts are ok to trade. I'll entertain any trade offers as long as your car is reliable and not extremely modified like for example, if it didn't come turbo for the factory then don't bother messaging me. just trying to let ppl know so they aren't wasting their time.
Just lowered my asking price to $22,500, Don't complain about the price!!!! If you do obviously you haven't reserched RS selling prices recently !!! If you are not a serious buyer just keep your nasty opinions to yourself. I actually drive this car everyday. It doesn't sit in a garage all the time. It's a rally car, it's suppose to be used and raced and not be a show car. I care more about how it drives then how it looks. The cheapest or worst thing about Evos is the factory paint job. While everything else is solid, Mitsubishi put paint last on the list I think.
I'm selling my 06 evolution 9 rs. Only 352 rs models got shipped to north America in 2006 and the 9s were made only in 06 so finding a good running rs under 100k miles is hard to find these days. I just hit 96k miles. I dumped just over $2,000 into it by getting a new exedy heavy duty pressure plate and organic disk clutch and a lighter act flywheel got installed August of last year along with a new timing belt and water pump and almost forgot, new rear break rotors and pads. The front brembo rotors still have a lot of meat left. I've owned the car since 2008 bought it with 38k miles on it, first owner did a lot of highway driving and it was completely stock so I'm only the 2nd owner. I bought a tanabe turbo back exhaust, manual boost controller and then got it Dyno tuned and it put down 300 whps and 300 lb torque on 93 gas. Right now the car runs great like a new car. It is lowered on tein springs but the ride is not bumpy actually more stiff. Stock Enkei's on it with Michelin pilot super spot r compound tires with half tread left, these tires are super sticky! I'm selling it cause I got debt and gotta pay my bills. I have the title which is clean and clear I've never been in an accident and neither the original owner. I did replace the stock rear bumper with a Jdm rear bumper. I did end up accidently backed into a wall a few years ago very lightly so there are scuffs on the bumper. Also someone keyed the car or it was a shopping cart by the gas cap cover about a foot long. I'm gonna take more updated pics this week showing any scratches and dings and the key mark and scuffs on the bumper. The front bumper lip is pretty scratched up too. It looks great from 10 ft away but when you get close up you see all the tiny rock chips on the front of the car. There are a few tiny rock chips on the front windshield but no spider webbing. Paint isn't fading I wax it every few months. Right now I have 2 10 inch subs in the trunk and 4 alpine speakers with a jvc head unit with an aux port in the car so music sounds awesome. That's all I can think of right now about it. I'm located near philly.
Cars I'm willing to trade for are,
-99-00 civic si near stock
-almost any year civic si's not molested and clean and rust free
-civic hatchbacks running good and clean
-not looking for any aftermarket turbo Hondas or any car. I've owned 5 civics in my life so far and turbo a couple and they just aren't reliable turbo.
I'll need cash on top of any civic. As I think of more cars I'm interested in I'll add them here. Just to let ppl know I know $25k is a lot for my Evo. Since I just listed it for sale, my asking price is pretty firm. If you look on autotrader, there are only 2 rs evo 9s on there now and both are at least my asking price if not more. evo 9s values are going up and will continue to rise. Rs's are hard to find and only came in rally red or wicked white. Pm me if you are seriously interested. Thanks for viewing!

Em1 are at the top of my list or my most wanted cars that I'll trade for but you will have to add cash with your em1 cause my Evo is at least double if not triple the value. Shoot me a pm if you can do that. I can't just trade without some $ on top.

Some scratches from accidentally rubbing up against the back wall of my old house trying to park in a tiny parking spot out back of the house

Picture of the roof showing no dents or dings. The roof is all aluminum so they are pretty easily to get pushed in or dinged up, but mines in great shape

If you zoom in or look close you'll see the hood has some really small chips in the paint from rocks and this some paint missing from the front grill which is perfectly normal on evos

In this picture I tried to show how this top of the trunk lid is ding free. I never parked under a tree so nothing has fallen on top of the car.

A lot of body work? No dents or dings, just scratches. So how you figure that's "a lot" of body work? 96k miles isn't high mileage I've seen evos close to 200k, that's high mileage.

GLWS. I wouldn't be so firm on the price. These cars were selling for cheaper a couple of years ago. This one is 9 years old with almost 100k miles so its not exactly the pick of the litter.

Busted? Please explain? It's my daily driver I'm sorry that it's not in mint condition. It is not a show queen. I actually drive and use this car.

I think people are saying this because the car was 29k brand new in 2006. It does need a decent amount of exterior attention to bring that kind of money.
